Miracle Drug Produces Massive Weight Loss!

Read yet another story in the “health news” today about a drug producing wonderful weight loss results.

Oh, yeah… um, when combined with a restricted calorie diet and daily exercise.

Um… drug industry? I can DIET AND EXERCISE on my own, hello? I don’t think you should be allowed to claim credit for your weight loss drug if you are also making me eat less and exercise more.

I’m just saying.

    Amen Sister!! That’s like saying a pill will make you smarter, but you have to read books and study while taking it. Duh!! I’m looking for miracle pills here 🙂

    The one I like best is the new one that blocks the digestion of fats. They pass right through. The adds suggest you wear dark clothing.

    I don;t know from weight loss ( I did oncology and diabetes and smoking cessation for years), but the claims in all pharmaceutical ads must pass some kind of statistical analysis test before anyone can say…anything,

    Would love to see what you’re looking at, iff’n you don’t mind.

    And yeah, cutting calories and working out does pretty much do the trick for most people.

    I understand that their claims in the study are probably right… I just think it’s sneaky that when I want a magic pill, these drug companies are coming up with things that still require me to cut back on the choco-crispies.
