Sometimes I am just shocked at the stuff people will jut GIVE AWAY to the Goodwill.
I would NEVER have tossed either of these, even if they are a bit worn. Age builds character, don’t you know?
Anyway… At least these didn’t end in a land fill.
And I am now carrying my new to me Fossil purse and wallet!
I was looking through my scarf cupboard yesterday to see what I wanted to wear today and I found three silk scarves that I TOTALLY FORGOT my mom had given me from her closet.
With all my Goodwilling, I have become something of a label whore.
And what was in my cupboard?
Burberry! Christian Dior! Silk!
Ok… 25 years old… But so what! These babies are timeless!
So once again, I have a super little outfit all thrifty like.
The Jacket came from – GASP – Value Village.. NOT Goodwill! But it was still thrifted 🙂
That skirt is J Crew… very nice.
Here’s a bit of a close up of the Jacket and necklace, since you can’t see the necklace too well in that picture above.
That face jug was given to me by my mother in law. I never wore it, because it was on a string, and just looked weird on a string by itself.
But then I took it and added BEADS! And he’s all cute now!
So this was a little bit inspired by voting day for this outfit… In that I wanted to make sure that I had comfy shoes on to wait in the voting line…
Sadly for the Democratic Process, the lines were very short. Took me only 20 mins.
I am really hoping that the light line is because A) everyone voted early and B) I live on the side of town where most folks are hourly-type workers who can’t just go in late after voting.
Really hope the crowds get bigger later! Voting is important!
I will be interested to see how the elections turn out today. I feel pretty good that I voted for Democrats, Republicans, AND Libertarians!
I have become such a GIRL!? I am wearing a brooch?! A PINK FLOWERY BROOCH!?!?
It’s totally cute, though 😉
I bought a jar full of beads at GW Sunday and the brooch was in there. So what the hell!
this really is something of a sea-change I am going through since I discovered how much fun it is to wear different “outfits”… it’s like getting to play dress up every day!
