And Now Hacked!

Posted in Uncategorized by noceleryplease on June 12, 2008

And so it turns out that while someone was rifling through my car on Tuesday night, someone else was hacking my personal web site where I keep all my pictures, etc.

Again, no real damage done, I just re-loaded the pages that were written over and changed my access password.

But still, I am starting to think I am on some kind of list.

You know… I thought I was mostly kidding about the possibility of getting my name in a book for signing that petition a while back… but now I wonder if I am the target of a sinister government plot!!!

I could see that! You know they just can’t start out running and grabbing people on the list and burning them at the stake. First they need to establish an avenging persecution of the heathens!!! I’m living in fear now…

  2. On or around 10 June 2008, officials from the Department of Homeland Security performed a routine investigation and intervention in your personal website. As part of Homeland Security’s Privacy Inquiry Security Survey, your website was accessed and its contents copied and cataloged. While in the vast majority of cases, personal websites contain no actionable information, it is necessary to conduct random, intensive, continuous Surveys in order to assure Americans’ security and privacy.

Copies of website contents will be maintained in encrypted form on Department of Homeland Security computers until 31 December 2062, or until such time as is established by subsequent Federal law, whichever is longer. The Department does not respond to inquiries regarding the status and disposition of individual persons’ website contents collected in routine Surveys.

The Department of Homeland Security will continue to maintain the highest possible level of assurance against any and all threats to our nation’s homeland. Your cooperation in these matters is greatly appreciated, as well as required by law.

Just because you’re paranoid doesn’t mean they aren’t out to get you.
