I Do Weird Stuff Sometimes
So… I bought a violin.
Why?
Well. Because I am weird.
I have always wanted to play an instrument.
I tried to play the guitar a while back… but I was just not very good at it. And it was discouraging to live with a guitar virtuoso while I could barely make a “G” chord.
So this way, I figure… I’ll be the only one trying to play the violin in my house. I might fair better. Plus – violins and guitars get along very well.
Plus – I love fiddles.
We shall see what comes of it.
Now I just need to find time to practice.

It’s always good to try to learn new things. Are your goals to be able to play something classical, country or just twinkle twinle little star 🙂

Violin is not all that easy to play. They tend to make noises like a cat in pain. Have fun exploring fiddletown.

Guitar discouraged me because my fingers just don’t reach all of the chords very well. Now they make smaller neck guitars for smaller hands, but there’s no time to practice!!
